A Southern Christmas: Nashville & The Biltmore Estate Dec. 3 – Dec 8, 2024

Day 1 (Tuesday)

We will depart from our pickup location to start our journey to Louisville, KY. A light breakfast snack will be served by a professional Excite Tours Coordinator along the way. From there you can sit back, relax and enjoy the ride. We will have multiple rest stops along the way, as well as a longer stop for lunch on your own. Once in Louisville you will have time to check into the hotel.  After checking into the hotel we will board the bus experience the Lights Under Louisville.  This an amazing display of lights underground in the famous Mega Cavern and the drive is about 30 minutes. After the light display you will have time on your own to explore the downtown area and have dinner.

Day 2 (Wednesday)

Breakfast is included at the hotel. We will begin our journey to the magnificent Biltmore Estate. We will have rest stops along the way for lunch on your own. Upon arriving in Asheville, NC, you will check in at the Village hotel and have the evening on your own to explore Antler Hill Village. There is a lot to do within walking distance of the hotel.  This destination has shopping, dining, historical exhibits and more.

Day 3 (Thursday)

Start your day with a delightful breakfast at Village Social, conveniently located in the hotel. Afterward, we’ll make our way to the Biltmore House for a self-guided tour of its magnificent grounds. Take your time to explore the expansive estate before we visit the Chihuly Art Exhibit at Amherst.

In the afternoon, we’ll return to the hotel, allowing you some time to freshen up for the evening’s activities. Dinner will be a group affair at the charming Stable Cafe, situated on the Biltmore grounds. Following our meal, we’ll experience the enchanting Candlelight Christmas evening at the Biltmore Estate, offering a unique nighttime perspective of this historic site.

Day 4 (Friday)

Breakfast is included at the hotel.  We will check out of the hotel and make our way to Nashville, TN.   Once in Nashville we will check into the amazing Gaylord Opryland Hotel.  The hotel will be decorated for the holidays and has a lot of activities do do onsite.

Day 5 (Saturday)

Breakfast is included at the hotel.  After breakfast we will make our way to a guided tour of the Ryman Auditorium. It is most well known for being home to the broadcasts of the Grand Ole Opry from 1943 to 1974. The tour will take us through the years of entertainment history. Lunch will be on our own. We will then head to the Grand Ole Opry House for a guided tour that will let us take a look at what happens behind the scenes. We will then return to our hotel to freshen up for our evening. Dinner is included this night. After dinner we will return to the Ryman Auditorium for this evening’s entertainment. Following the show, we will return to our hotel for the night. Day 6 (Sunday)

Breakfast is included at the hotel. We will depart at 8am to make our way home. We will have multiple rest stops along the way.
